Rooting Advice

Thebeermoneyman » Thu Sep 01, 2016 2:55 pm

I figured this would go best here. I have 5 LG Sunrise(LGL15G) that I am considering rooting but all I can find are guides using Kingoroot. Does anyone have personal experience using this method and have you noticed anything that didn't seem right?

I started to root one of them last night but then I read an article that said some people think King has backdoors built into it but then others say different.

So what is yalls opinion? Is there any other method that I missed maybe? Thanks.

You wasted your money buying the phones if you wanted to root them

I didn't buy I e with that intention either. It's just now that I have phones that I use VNC on I'd like to completely get away from teamviewer. Oh well for now I guess.

Is teamviewer a VNC thing?

VNC is an alternate to TeamViewer. It costs but I find it to be more reliable but unless I am mistaken it only runs on rooted phones.
