iPhone 4 may be fried - What is this screen doing?

This screen just started doing this and it does it off and on now.

But what I would do is just open it up and see if there is dust or something under the screen

It seems like the LCD connections aren't properly connected. It could also be that the motherboard has been fried too.

It could be an easy fix by replacing the LCD and the screen but that does cost money :/
