This app is actually a game. The aim is to make swords and battle monsters to collect gold which at some point you can redeem a gift card with the gold. However to make swords you need to use gold and people have said that their losing more gold making swords than selling rare swords. Therefore I believe that it could be a scam.

 I tried it out too, it's slow and laggy and too many ads, I didn't even make a quarter in 2 hours

 Yeah it's stupid as well how you have to use the gold you earned to make new swords.
